Cervecería Catalana is an Eixample tapas bar that runs at volume: a long counter stacked with plates, a kitchen turning out patatas bravas, jamón croquetas and pa amb tomàquet without pause, and a terrace on the pavement outside. Vegetarian tapas are properly represented, which is not always the case in a bar built around ham, and around €18 a head covers a full spread.
