Palia is a small breakfast café on Am Schwarzen Meer, built by Lia and Pavo around what they call a clear, reduced concept: specialty coffee, breakfast and cake, and not much else. That restraint is the point. The kitchen works as regionally, organically, fair-trade and plant-based as it can manage, everything is made in house, and breakfast is a proper sit-down affair rather than a pastry grabbed at a counter — tables can be reserved for it.
