The menu runs from banana breakfasts, brioche and croissants through French toast, pancakes and crepes, then into yoghurt bowls, overnight oats, acai and salads, wraps filled with pulled chicken or tempeh, open sandwiches, and toasties served on Turkish pide. Everything is plated for eating at the table rather than grabbed from a counter, and the sweet plate arrives as six miniatures meant to be shared. Plates hover around ten euros, vegetarian and vegan choices run right through the card, and there is a terrace for the days Twente allows it.

The kitchen keeps the choice short on purpose: dishes are made fresh in-house each day, built on local, sustainable and largely plant-based produce, so what arrives depends on what the season is actually giving. Mains land around eighteen euros, and vegetarians and vegans are not treated as an afterthought here but as the starting point. The Binnentuin gives the place its character, an unexpected pocket of green for a city better known for its industrial past.
