Café egg does one thing: breakfast, and it has done it on Himpfelshofstraße in Rosenau since the summer of 2019. Its own tagline is "all about breggfast" and the menu reads that way — fried and scrambled eggs, omelettes, cheese and cold cuts, yoghurt, porridge, pancakes, and bread with spreads that you can assemble plate by plate. Three set breakfasts rotate every Thursday for anyone who would rather not choose, and a daily board carries the sandwiches, small lunch plates and homemade cakes. Big shopfront windows, mismatched chairs and vintage sugar bowls make it a place to sit for an hour longer than planned.
