    Isaan Thai Cuisine

Isaan Thai Cuisine cooks the food of northeastern Thailand in a quiet side street off Santa Catalina, and it has been doing so longer than anyone else in Palma — the house calls itself the city's first Thai restaurant. The kitchen is open to the dining room, the cooks are Thai, and the owner works the floor, steering guests toward the dishes worth ordering rather than the ones they already know. Curries and pad thai anchor the card, with a proper run of vegetarian plates beside them. Prices stay in everyday territory, which is why the neighbourhood keeps the tables full. You can collect an order to take home, but the room, not the counter, is the point.
