   Out in Málaga's western residential streets, well past the old town, Mesón Los Robles de León cooks the food of Castile rather than the coast. The kitchen works over fire and in the oven: roasted suckling pig and lamb, grilled meats, fish and shellfish, with regional wines alongside. It is a single-address mesón that built its name slowly, on repeat custom from the surrounding blocks rather than on passing trade. Lunch is the main event, stretching through the afternoon in the Spanish way, with two evening services at the end of the week.
