    Pizzeria f222

Out on Via Colonnello Giovanni Fincato, well east of the Arena, f222 is the pizzeria Verona's own eastern neighbourhoods claim as theirs. The oven burns olive wood and nothing else, which is the whole argument: a short, hot bake that leaves the crust blistered and faintly smoky. Beyond pizza the kitchen cooks traditional Veronese dishes and will fire grilled meats on request, so a table can order in two directions at once. In summer the terrace opens up and seats around eighty, and the room stays firmly family-run and unfussy. Four independent local sources name it a neighbourhood favourite; mains land near 16 euro.

Terrace: There is outdoor seating for warmer days.
