   Osteria da Pampo sits out in Sant'Elena, the quiet green tip of Venice that day-trippers never reach and neighbours still walk to. The kitchen is family-run and unashamedly old-fashioned: dishes from the Venetian past, crossed with the Ligurian side of the family, built on lagoon seafood and whatever vegetables the season hands over. Nothing is dressed up.
