Azeitona has cooked vegetarian Levantine food on Beckstraße in the Schanzenviertel since 2004, and the kitchen still leads with falafel, hummus and mezze. Everything on the card is vegetarian and most of it can be made vegan on request, which makes it an unusually easy address for mixed groups. Two decades in one building have given it the ease of a neighbourhood institution rather than a concept restaurant: plates are meant for sharing, the room fills with regulars, and mains stay near 18 euro.
