   No Nonsense

   Sixteen seats, a side street off the centre of Ostend, and a menu that changes with whatever came in fresh that morning. No Nonsense lives up to its name: a huiskamer-bistro, meaning the room feels closer to someone's living room than to a restaurant floor, and the cooking is the point rather than the setting. The kitchen keeps the card deliberately short, running meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan versions of the day's idea, each matched to a drink chosen to go with it. Booking ahead is the sensible move, because a room this size fills quickly on the four evenings it opens. Mains land around 18 euro.
